Matthew is a professionally qualified violinist with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music and a full member of the Music Teachers Association of NSW. Following his first eight years of teaching in Singleton NSW and Sydney, Matthew now teaches violin, viola and cello in Canberra at various ACT schools and at his studio in Ngunnawal. Matthew has played violin and viola in various orchestral groups, including the National Capital Orchestra, the North Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Newcastle Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra.
